Clevera in your language, a new article editor and a more capable assistant
Use Clevera in your own language, write articles in a new editor with AI built in, find everything in the new Content sections, make one social clip on the Free plan, and let the assistants change much more, with a plan to confirm before big changes.

Clevera now speaks your language, articles have a new editor with AI built in, Content is reorganized into sections, and the assistants can change much more of your video, with a plan to confirm before big changes.
New
- Use Clevera in your language. Choose a display language in Account settings → Preferences → Language. Menus, buttons, emails and the assistants' replies follow it; your videos, clips and articles keep their own language. You can also pick it on the sign-in and sign-up pages. See Change the display language.
- A new article editor. Type
/for any block, drag blocks by their handle, and build tables, steps, tabs, cards and callouts. The header shows who else is in the article. See Edit an article and its screenshots. - AI in the article editor. Press ⌘J (Ctrl+J) or click Ask AI to improve, shorten, translate or change the tone of a passage, check it against the recording, fill gaps from it, add a screenshot or write what comes next. The result appears as a preview you can replace, insert below or discard. It uses credits and shows as Article AI. See Use AI in the article editor.
- The video assistant changes much more. Ask it to trim or speed up footage, change zooms, scenes and cards, add callouts and highlights, set music and captions, change the aspect ratio, the background or the voice. Show on a change opens the panel where it happened and marks what the AI edited. See Ask the assistant to change your video.
- Plans before big changes. When you ask an assistant for a large change, it first shows a plan card with each change, an estimate in credits and your balance before and after; nothing happens until you click Confirm. Social clip redesigns are planned scene by scene, with a 1x, 2x or 3x effort choice. See Review and confirm an assistant plan.
- Free small assistant edits every day. Answers, simple edits and planning are free each day up to an allowance per workspace; after that, small edits use credits. See Free small edits each day.
- One social clip on the Free plan. Free workspaces can now make one social clip, one time only, at Medium effort. If it fails on our side, you get it back. See Know what the Free plan includes.
- Set a clip's style with a sample video. In Compose, Upload a sample video and the AI follows its style, pacing, music and sound, never its content. See Use a sample video to set a clip's style.
- Content sections. Content has its own list on the left: All content, In progress, Shared, Videos, Social clips, Articles, Recordings, your collections, All collections and Trash. A collection's settings and access open right inside Content, and new collections can use an emoji, an icon or your own image. See Find, filter and sort your content and Organize videos in collections and folders.
- Track every run in one place. Content → In progress lists every video, clip and research run being made in the workspace, with questions waiting for you, failed runs and their refunds, and Try again or Cancel run. See Track runs in progress.
- Reset a share link. If a link reached the wrong people, Reset link in Share gives the video a new address; the old link and its embeds stop working at once and your view counts are kept. See Reset the link.
- Switch to yearly from Billing. When yearly costs less, owners of a monthly Starter or Pro plan see the saving in Billing and can switch in one step, with the charge shown before they confirm. See Switch to yearly.
- Download an article as a Markdown file, next to Copy as Markdown in Share. See Export or publish an article.
Improved
- A calmer sidebar. It shows icons only by default (press ⌘B to expand; your choice is remembered), with the credit meter and notifications at its foot and your pinned collections under Content. See Find your way around Clevera.
- Videos now live inside articles with the video block. Instead of pairing an article with a video, add a Clevera video block anywhere in the article. Articles that were paired with a video now start with it as a block, so readers still see it. See Show a video in an article.
- Clearer downloads and publishing for articles. Each download format says what it's best for and what converts. Publishing runs in the background, shows its progress and tells you when it's done, even if you leave the page. Notion, Confluence, Help Scout, GitLab, Bitbucket and ReadMe pages keep more of your formatting, and Google Docs always creates a new document. See Export or publish an article.
- The social clip editor. A Narration card lists every line, so you can play, rewrite and re-record each one. Translate a clip from Translate in the top bar. See Edit a social clip.
- Social clips sound better. Music is chosen to fit the clip and sits under the voice, sound effects are balanced, and every clip plays at a consistent volume. See Understand music and sound effects in clips.
- Captions on social clips are off by default. Turn them on when a clip needs them; their look now matches the clip's style. See Change the style, background and captions.
- Polish cuts more cleanly. Clean-up removes retakes, false starts and filler at natural pauses, never mid-word. Styled for sharing trims dead air gently and keeps your title. Both add captions in your own voice, and Compose shows Captions and Format for Polish. See Clean up or restyle a recording with Polish.
- Better-paced how-tos and demos. The footage follows the voice without long freezes, each click gets a moment before it happens, and re-recording a line refits its scene. See Use sync and pacing to match footage to narration.
- More natural voice-overs. Voice tags for pauses, breaths, laughs and delivery work in every tone and language, and the voice stays consistent across a video. See Use voice tags in narration.
- Seat changes show the exact charge. Before you confirm, Update seats compares now and after and shows what you pay today, from your renewal, and which card is charged. See Add or remove Pro seats.
- Links are checked before a run starts. Website research, Record with AI and social clips check the address first and say why when a page can't be used, so you don't spend credits on a page that won't open. YouTube links can't be used as material. See Why Clevera can't open a link and Know which links and materials Clevera won't use.
- Safer email changes. Changing your account email now asks for your password (or a code for Google sign-in accounts) and takes effect only after you confirm from the new address. Your old address is told about the change. See Change your account email.
- Clearer roles. Editors edit existing videos, clips and articles; creating new ones and starting a new generation are for owners, admins and content creators, and the buttons say so. Only people who can edit an article can publish it. See Understand workspaces, roles and creator seats.
- Deleting forever runs in the background. Delete forever and Empty trash no longer keep you waiting: Content shows "Deleting N items…" while it works. See Delete and restore videos and articles.
- The embedded video player no longer shows a "Made with Clevera" pill over the video.
Fixed
- Clevera no longer stops working when your browser translates the page.
- Dragging the seek bar in the player no longer shows the paused overlay.
